Sifu Guide: How To Beat Kuroki

The path against the Sifu bosses continues and we reach Kuroki, the third main enemy that will be waiting for us at the end of the Museum. Defeating her is not going to be easy due to her powerful attacks, but in the following guide, we leave you some tips so you can do it more effectively. Do not miss it!

Sifu Guide: How To Beat Kuroki

We will face this enemy on a simple map full of snow. There aren’t too many obstacles, so the focus is on dodging the fighter’s attacks. Kuroki has an extendable and sharp spear to attack us, so as we told you in our combat guide, it is better to dodge the attacks with a knife.

Ideally, keep a safe distance from her until the combo ends and we can attack her. When we see that it makes an attack towards the ground, it is also time to attack it, since there are a few seconds in which it stays away. When we have taken enough life from him, he will enter the second phase.

In the second phase, not only will the environment change, but Kuroki will become much more aggressive and faster. He will attack us with two melee kunai in patterns generally of five finishing attacks that we will have to dodge. When we see that he leans back, it means that he is going to throw his weapons at us, but if we have the ability to Catch Weapons, we can catch them in the air and return them to take advantage of and attack him directly afterward. With a little patience and a lot of dodges, we will be able to defeat her.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Play the DOOM level

It is possible to play the first level of the original DOOM in Dying Light 2: Stay Human, but to do so you will have to perform a ritual with satanic rubber ducks. We show you how to activate this easter egg.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is a game full of surprises. Not only is it a frenetic adventure with zombies and parkour, but it also has winks and references of all kinds.

We have already told you about the Sword of Conan the Barbarian, the cosmic frying pan of some space chickens or the Easter eggs from Resident Evil and Gears of War. But there are more surprises waiting for you.

Did you know that you can play the first level of the original DOOM? As a good first-person game, Dying Light 2 pays homage to one of the fathers of the genre, with an infernal easter egg that will make you smile.

If you want to relive the 1993 FPS in the Techland title, here you will find out how to play the DOOM level in Dying Light 2 Stay Human … if you can perform the infernal ritual of some rubber ducks.

How to play the DOOM level

Although there are no demons and we can’t don the DOOM Guy suit, in Dying Light 2 it is possible to play the first level (E1M1) of the original DOOM. Of course, prepare for a long explanation.

Basically, to activate the DOOM easter egg we have to find a secret room, in which we have to perform an infernal ritual… placing five black rubber ducks.

It’s surreal and tremendously funny. Finding the ritual room isn’t particularly difficult, but the same can’t be said for the ducklings. They are very hidden and finding them will be a great adventure.

Once we have the ducklings, we can enjoy DOOM’s double-barreled shotgun and feel part of this mythical level. In addition, the screen will be pixelated to make us believe that we are playing the classic FPS from id Software.

Find the Altar Chamber

This spooky ritual room (looks like something out of DOOM Eternal) is in the VNC Tower. This 80-story skyscraper is located in the downtown district of the city, and you have already visited it in history.

Once you have completed the main story of Dying Light 2, go to the VNC Tower and take the elevator down to the basement. You will find an area flooded with water, which you must swim across.

After passing through the flooded area, you will see an open door, located to the right of the automated door. Go inside and you will see a mysterious elevator.

Take the elevator and you will appear in a dark room, reddish as hell. Connect all the power cables (drawing a pentagram) and you will see that there are five altars.

Location of the rubber ducks

As you can imagine, you have to place five objects on these altars. The search for five evil rubber ducks begins, which is not an easy task.

These ducklings are black and have red eyes. They hide at different points on the map, which we will detail below. Once you have all five ducklings, return to the Altar Chamber.

  • Duckling 1 – Go to the north of the chemically polluted island, in the waters of the warf. The duckling is found inside a sunken police car, just below the main bridge.
  • Ducky 2 – Head west of Garrison, and go to one of the towers (the first one to the north) located next to the Mount Lucid Observatory. It hides inside a microwave.
  • Ducky 3 – Take an elevator to the top of the VNC Tower. Sneak through one of the windows and you’ll see a safe. Use the code 666 and you will get the duckling.
  • Duckling 4 – Go to the border between the Newfound Lost Lands and Lower Dam Ayre. You will see a block of bricks with two blue ledges. In one of them is the duckling, and in another a skull.
  • Duckling 5 – Head to the chemical field northwest of Houndfield. You will find a kind of mini graveyard, where this last duckling is located.

The level of DOOM

When you have all five ducklings, return to the Altar Chamber and place each of them. Interact with the center of the pentagram and the DOOM Combat Challenge will begin. You will be given a double-barrel shotgun.

This challenge is timed, pixelated and you can beat your own records (bronze, silver, and gold). You can’t keep the shotgun, but you can repeat the level whenever you want.

Dying Light 2: Stay Human has been available since February 4 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, and PC. The Nintendo Switch version will arrive in August.

Rewards from the shrines to unlock first in Sifu

We recommend that you unlock the following rewards first because they are basically the ones you are going to use the most in the rest of the game.

The first attempt we make in Sifu is likely to be extremely difficult for us, and surely by the second level we will already be sweating to be able to defeat the enemies, but one of the keys is to know which sanctuary rewards to unlock first.

And it is that throughout the levels we can find a series of sanctuaries, that is, some jade statues that will allow you to unlock a pertinent reward or skill.

So when you are facing these shrines with the statues, we exactly recommend that you unlock the following rewards or abilities because they are the ones that you are really going to need in the later game.

Rewards from the shrines to unlock first in Sifu

As we said, each level has shrines that allow you to unlock a rewarding ability, and that reward is lost if you die or restart the level, so once you have them you must try to beat the level you are in.

And it is that some of these rewards may seem important to you at first, but later you will not use them at all, so we are going to recommend the ones that you are going to use the most in the rest of the game so that you can unlock them from the beginning.

Note that in the first level we have up to three sanctuaries, and in level two there are three more sanctuaries, so if we are smart, we can unlock up to six rewards at the beginning of the game, more than enough to have a rest of the game quite affordable.

We recommend that you unlock the following:

  • Focus Regain 2x, which basically makes you gain more when dodging or blocking, making later bosses easier.
  • 3x Structure Pool, our block strength, where this skill increases our pool meaning you can make more mistakes without being penalized, and is critical for all bosses after the first one you face.
  • 1x Recovery, which basically repairs our body after blocking and dodging successful attacks, is going to come in handy for later boss fights.
  • Parry Impact with this we increase the impact of the blockades in the structure of the enemy body, doing more damage to the opponent’s structure indicator, very useful for the last bosses of the game.

The rest of the skills or rewards are not going to be worth much in the rest of the game, so try to focus first on the ones we have told you about because they are going to make the rest quite easy for you.

How to spare the lives of bosses in Sifu

Sifu guide where we tell you how to spare the life of the bosses to see an alternative ending and get a trophy in the PS5, PS5, and PC fighting game.

Sifu, the successful beat ’em up for PS5, PS4 and PC is a game that has surprised players with its difficulty. However, the martial arts game has also taken great care in its history and its narrative… and it is full of surprises, such as being able to spare the lives of bosses.

We recommend this technique if you have already finished the game’s story mode and want to see an alternate ending as well as get a trophy. Also, achieving this requires practice, as you must master the parry technique that allows you to reduce the structure of the bosses without killing them.

How to spare the lives of bosses in Sifu

The process is simple in theory but difficult in practice. Play the first phase of the fight normally and in the second phase, break two of its structure. Don’t hit him then because you will kill him, let him recharge his structure and break it again.

The second time you do this, get closer to the opponent and you will see an on-screen option to spare them by tapping the left mouse button on the D-pad. To achieve this, it is recommended to master the parries, as they allow you to quickly lower the structure of the bosses without damaging them.

Learn the dynamics of the enemies well to be able to perfectly block their attacks. If you spare the life of the final boss of the game, Yang, you will see an alternate ending.
