Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Play the DOOM level
It is possible to play the first level of the original DOOM in Dying Light 2: Stay Human, but to do so you will have to perform a ritual with satanic rubber ducks. We show you how to activate this easter egg.
Dying Light 2 Stay Human is a game full of surprises. Not only is it a frenetic adventure with zombies and parkour, but it also has winks and references of all kinds.
We have already told you about the Sword of Conan the Barbarian, the cosmic frying pan of some space chickens or the Easter eggs from Resident Evil and Gears of War. But there are more surprises waiting for you.
Did you know that you can play the first level of the original DOOM? As a good first-person game, Dying Light 2 pays homage to one of the fathers of the genre, with an infernal easter egg that will make you smile.
If you want to relive the 1993 FPS in the Techland title, here you will find out how to play the DOOM level in Dying Light 2 Stay Human … if you can perform the infernal ritual of some rubber ducks.
How to play the DOOM level
Although there are no demons and we can’t don the DOOM Guy suit, in Dying Light 2 it is possible to play the first level (E1M1) of the original DOOM. Of course, prepare for a long explanation.
Basically, to activate the DOOM easter egg we have to find a secret room, in which we have to perform an infernal ritual… placing five black rubber ducks.
It’s surreal and tremendously funny. Finding the ritual room isn’t particularly difficult, but the same can’t be said for the ducklings. They are very hidden and finding them will be a great adventure.
Once we have the ducklings, we can enjoy DOOM’s double-barreled shotgun and feel part of this mythical level. In addition, the screen will be pixelated to make us believe that we are playing the classic FPS from id Software.
Find the Altar Chamber
This spooky ritual room (looks like something out of DOOM Eternal) is in the VNC Tower. This 80-story skyscraper is located in the downtown district of the city, and you have already visited it in history.
Once you have completed the main story of Dying Light 2, go to the VNC Tower and take the elevator down to the basement. You will find an area flooded with water, which you must swim across.
After passing through the flooded area, you will see an open door, located to the right of the automated door. Go inside and you will see a mysterious elevator.
Take the elevator and you will appear in a dark room, reddish as hell. Connect all the power cables (drawing a pentagram) and you will see that there are five altars.
Location of the rubber ducks
As you can imagine, you have to place five objects on these altars. The search for five evil rubber ducks begins, which is not an easy task.
These ducklings are black and have red eyes. They hide at different points on the map, which we will detail below. Once you have all five ducklings, return to the Altar Chamber.
- Duckling 1 – Go to the north of the chemically polluted island, in the waters of the warf. The duckling is found inside a sunken police car, just below the main bridge.
- Ducky 2 – Head west of Garrison, and go to one of the towers (the first one to the north) located next to the Mount Lucid Observatory. It hides inside a microwave.
- Ducky 3 – Take an elevator to the top of the VNC Tower. Sneak through one of the windows and you’ll see a safe. Use the code 666 and you will get the duckling.
- Duckling 4 – Go to the border between the Newfound Lost Lands and Lower Dam Ayre. You will see a block of bricks with two blue ledges. In one of them is the duckling, and in another a skull.
- Duckling 5 – Head to the chemical field northwest of Houndfield. You will find a kind of mini graveyard, where this last duckling is located.
The level of DOOM
When you have all five ducklings, return to the Altar Chamber and place each of them. Interact with the center of the pentagram and the DOOM Combat Challenge will begin. You will be given a double-barrel shotgun.
This challenge is timed, pixelated and you can beat your own records (bronze, silver, and gold). You can’t keep the shotgun, but you can repeat the level whenever you want.
Dying Light 2: Stay Human has been available since February 4 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, and PC. The Nintendo Switch version will arrive in August.

A new theory about the next Zelda game has recently emerged, and it suggests a link between Ganondorf and Thanos, the Marvel villain.
This theory comes from a Reddit user who analyzed the trailer for Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which was revealed at the last Nintendo Direct. According to the user, there are some similarities between Ganondorf and Thanos, such as their similar appearance and the fact that they are both seeking ultimate power.
The theory goes on to suggest that Ganondorf is looking for the Triforce in order to obtain ultimate power, just like Thanos sought the Infinity Stones to achieve his goal. The theory concludes by suggesting that, just like Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, Ganondorf will succeed in obtaining the Triforce and will use it to achieve his ultimate goal, whatever that may be.
Of course, this theory should be taken with a grain of salt, as it is based solely on the observations of one Reddit user. However, it is an interesting idea that adds an extra layer of intrigue to the upcoming Zelda game.

The Celebrations in the Career mode or Casual mode are similar and the method to do these celebrations are also similar. EAS FC Unlockable Celebrations are included in the FIFA 23 Legacy Edition for Nintendo Console. These celebrations are unlocked after leveling up your EA Account Level and this account level works on all FIFA games so your past level of previous FIFA games will remain the same and you’ll be able to increase that level by playing FIFA 23 Legacy Edition.
